What Is My Daughter? 

My daughter is
Goodness and light
She’s a breeze during a hot summer day
She’s the first snowflake on a winters morning
The sound of a bird on a beautiful spring day
A flower that seems to bloom overnight
   
My daughter is
Eyes wide with wonder and anticipation
With a heart full of giggles
And a lifetime of smiles
My daughter is
All that is loving and good
Bringing her own unique strengths to
Her family and friends 
Her inner strength is her spirituality and her faith
With his guidance she’s found her place
She was God’s way of showing his love
And unending grace
By sending me my daughter
This very special gift
My daughter, my friend
I have watched you laugh and cry and grow
and now soon I will have to let you go.
You came from deep within my heart
It’s there you’ll always be though your own life will now start.

My daughter is a woman, no longer a child
soon to be a beautiful bride

She will find her place as his loving wife

 As she continues to make us proud throughout her life

 

 

 

Wow, what a weekend. Tracy’s bridal shower was Saturday, given by her maid of honor( her sister Sara) and her matron of honor( John’s Aunt and Tracy’s friend Amy). It was truly a lovely day! So many of Tracy’s friends and family gathered and surronded her with love and best wishes as well as tons of lovely presents!
The tea was lovely and all the ladies enjoyed being together in such a lovely setting. As for my girl she never looked more beautiful! The smiles that graced her face all day truly came from her heart! I have never seen Tracy so happy! It is truly a mothers dream to have a daughter so happy and ready to start on the next part of her journey as a woman and wife. What more can we want for our childern but to go into this world as happy, independent and loved adults. We are so proud of the young woman you have become Tracy! Enjoy every moment of this very special time! We love you Tracy Liz!
